These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the Chimène Joy Illustration webshop.

2. Applicability
By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.
These terms apply to all offers, orders, and agreements between Chimène Joy Illustration and the customer.
3. Products and Images
We strive to display our products and images as clearly and accurately as possible.
Because our products may be photographed or digitally rendered, the color on a screen may differ slightly from the actual product.
For original artworks, each piece may be unique, and minor differences or imperfections may be part of the handmade nature of the product.
4. Prices
All prices are displayed in euros.
Chimène Joy Illustration uses the Small Business Scheme (KOR). Therefore, no VAT is separately charged on our invoices and prices.
Any shipping costs will be clearly displayed during the ordering process before you finalize your order.
We reserve the right to change prices and product information. A price change will not affect an order that has already been placed.
5. Ordering and Payment
Orders can be placed through the webshop.
After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation by email. The agreement is concluded once the order has been confirmed by us.
Payment is made via the payment methods offered during checkout.
If a payment is not completed, the order cannot be processed.
6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. The estimated delivery time is stated during the ordering process or on the website.
If an order is delayed, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
We are not responsible for delays that occur after an order has been handed over to the carrier.
7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
For an online purchase, you generally have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without stating a reason.
The cooling-off period starts the day after you, or a third party designated by you, has received the order.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you can inform us of this within the cooling-off period via contact@chimenejoyillustration.com.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you generally have another 14 days to return the product.
The costs for returning an order are borne by the customer, unless otherwise specified.
The product must be handled with care and, as far as reasonably possible, returned in its original condition and packaging.
For certain products, the statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded, for example, if a product has been custom-made according to your wishes. If this applies, it will be clearly stated before the purchase.
8. Refund
After a valid withdrawal, we will refund the amount due in accordance with the statutory regulations.
We may wait to refund until we have received the returned product or until you can prove that the product has been returned.
The refund will be made using the same payment method as the original order, unless otherwise agreed.
9. Damaged or Incorrect Order
Have you received a damaged, incorrect, or incomplete product? Please contact us as soon as possible via contact@chimenejoyillustration.com.
We kindly request you to send photos of the damage or the received product if possible, so that we can assess the problem and find a suitable solution.
10. Legal Warranty
All products are covered by the legal warranty.
This means that a product must meet what you, as a consumer, can reasonably expect from it.
The legal rights of the consumer always apply. These general terms and conditions do not prejudice these rights.

12. Intellectual Property
All illustrations, images, texts, designs, and other creative content on this website are the property of Chimène Joy Illustration or are used with permission.
It is not permitted to copy, distribute, modify, or commercially use this content without prior written consent.
The purchase of a product does not grant the right to reproduce or commercially use the illustration depicted thereon.
13. Personal Data
When placing an order, we process personal data necessary for processing and delivering the order.
More information about this can be found in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes
We may change these terms and conditions when necessary.
The terms applicable to an order are the terms that were in effect at the time the order was placed.
15. Applicable Law
Dutch law applies to agreements between Chimène Joy Illustration and consumers.
This does not affect the legal rights of consumers.
